Fossil primate from 35 million years ago was discovered in southern Thailand, local media, stressing that this is sufficient evidence that primates, including humans originated in Asia rather than Africa.

Director General of the Thai agency to study the minerals confirms that the fossil belongs to the essence, like primate that lived 35 million years ago. The oldest fossil as found in Africa dates back 32 million years.
