In Siberia - 46 below zero
Events, Tuesday, April 24, 2012 21:28:16Unusually cold weather with temperatures 40 degrees below zero were measured in northeastern Siberia, along the Kolyma River. The lowest temperature in the field has been measured in North Evenk, where the mercury in thermometers fell to 46 degrees below zero.
Meteorologists predicted that extreme low temperatures, unusual for November, will continue over the next few days. Russian meteorologists are surprised by the polar winter, which this year came much earlier.
