U.S. President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama accepted more than 2,000 children in the White House tonight for Halloween celebrations, officials said. This is the first Halloween in the White House for Obama's daughters, 8-year-old Sasha and 11-year-old Malia, stated in April Children who will visit the White House have been selected by the Ministry of Education schools in the capital and its environs.
Across America tonight, children disguised themselves and went from door to door to collect candy and other sweets. The party at the White House were organized outdoor activities at different times for children and their families so they do not line up at once for candy. Later in the East Room of the U.S. first couple was joined by Vice President Joe Biden and his wife Jill reception on the occasion of Halloween, which will be organized for families of military and White House officials and their children.
