Poland intends to turn to President Obama asking him to pardon the famous film director Roman Polanski. That said Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said on radio station "Echo of Moscow". Polanski was a citizen of Poland, but in the mid 70s got French citizenship.
Film director was arrested Saturday in Zurich, where he had to be given award for contribution to world cinematography. American justice accuses Polanski in an intimate relationship with a 13-year-old Samantha Gamer in 1977. In 1978. Polanski left the United States to avoid prison.
